This was in California back in 2005 I believe.Welcome to our website. I know you can't see it well but you can see there is 9 arrows in it. I know most have never seen a 9 arrow quiver so below is a picture of one. Crap happens and the last thing you want to happen is to have a injured animal and no arrows left to shoot it with. You hunt enough out west and you will eventually find out 3 arrows or even 5 with broadheads is not enough. That means if I had a 5 arrow quiver and had two arrows with small game heads on them, I would only have 3 arrows with broadheads on them and IMO that is not enough. I usually carry two or three arrows that have a small game head on them. I've quivered out several times with a 8 arrow quiver over the years(30+ years of bowhunting). I personally would never use a 5 arrow or less quiver out west. I don't want to have to pass up on grouse, quail, squirrel or other legal small game because I don't have enough arrows. It's not just for the big game, I like to shoot any small game when in season and I'm out hunting big game. I like having lots of arrows with me when hunting out west. I personally now use a mathews 7 arrow 1 piece quiver and that works great for me. Being able to take a full quiver off in high winds will make you a better shot especially if it's a cross wind. I rarely take them off on spot and stalk hunts but there were times I would when I stalked a animal and the wind was blowing and I was hidden enough I could take off without being seen. I then started using removable quivers and they are the way to go. I hunted for years with a 7 to 9 arrow fixed quivers. I tried them and they are a total pain walking through brush, easy and easy to forget. I grew up bowhunting out west and there is no way I would ever use a back or hip quiver. I’d have bought the quiver if they included it and bumped the price, I like it that much. No idea on their margins so I’d be a fool to give you a reason as to why they don’t add the extra one in for the price on that model because there’s a lot more that goes into it than the end retail cost. But it’s also designed so you can add another one easily if you want it another piece. One pop out and a follow up arrow is ready to go. Like I said above it’s probably designed with one grip for ease of arrow removal on purpose. The added piece is just an additional grip. Also, read in my post, I HAVE ONE but have not used it yet! We will see! If Tightspot is so good and others come with 2, why not Tightspot. Am I wrong in this or I am I one that does not like to buy something to add to an already expensive item to make it work like it should! Like I said, an expense that you have to buy another $20 item to quieten it down! Guess you like spending money when it should have been added with no extra cost, but I see you said you do not need it as yours is quiet without it.
